THE HEALING HOUSE
The Healing House is a research-based, proposed women’s recovery campus in Chattanooga rooted in the concept of metamorphosis, symbolizing growth, healing, and personal transformation. The site is organized around three primary buildings: an intake facility, an auxiliary and event space, guiding women through the early stages of recovery, readjustment to daily life, and reintegration into society. This collaborative project addresses both emotional and practical aspects of healing, with a personal focus on the auxiliary building. The auxiliary building focuses on a combination of private offices and social activity spaces that support healthy habit formation and personal development, including workout areas, classrooms, and creative craft spaces that encourage routine, connection, and empowerment.
